She got her first big break as the lead actress on Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains It All. During the show’s four year run she was nominated for four Young Artist Awards, winning three of them. You may know Nick Cannon as Mariah Carey’s husband and the America’s Got Talent host, but Nick Cannon’s career actually started on the Nickelodeon show, All That, way back in 1998. It didn’t take long for producers to realize they had a star on their hands, and by 2002 he starred in the The Nick Cannon Show, also on Nickelodeon.
